Silent Hill 2 movie confirmed
French director Christophe Gans tells magazine DVDrama that the movie is "well underway,"

| Very cool, especially if Gans is attached. I think the first movie was far from perfect, but a big part of it's appeal was his directing. |

| I personally think in this one, it's going to be Christopher looking for Rose & Sharon in Silent Hill. I just hope its not as bad as the first one. |

| I agree, needs to be a bit more silent hilly. I wonder if the same actors are gonna do it. Sean Bean is a good actor, I'd like to see him in the leading role maybe. |

| Pyramid Head needs to kill more people in Silent Hill 2, I think it was a very short appearance for him in Silent Hill. Being the movie about the game, they should really try & follow the trend that the game makes/how many times does James run into Pyramid Head? I never counted but I know that the answer is many. |

The first movie wasn't bad at all. It didn't exactly follow the canon, true. But Gans didn't fuck up the story anywhere near as much as Anderson did in his "Resident Evil" movies.
I also hope Pyramid Head plays a more prominent role. He was in the first one for what? Ten minutes? |

I just hope that it's more easier to understand.
I watched Silent Hill for an hour and a half without a clue to what was going on - it wasn't till the little girl explained to Sharon to what was going on, i understood it.
I can't play the game because the only one you can get for the XBox is Silent Hill 4 and i rather play the first one before starting on the fourth one.
And i hope they make it a little more spookier - the first one only made me jump once and that was due to the nurses who moved  |

| You can also get Silent Hill 2 for the Xbox. With that being said the only two games that have a direct link to one another is Silent Hill and Silent Hill 3. All the others are fine to play without playing the first. |

and yeah... Pyramid Head did only make a short appearance... that's unfair.... huhuhu! |

I dont know if pyramid head will reflect its original SH2 role very well with the current story. If christopher goes to search his wife and child ol' PH will probably not rape the nurses, but will end up as the "bad ass villain". Wich by itself is no big problem, but it might make the whole thing drift off from the canon even more.
Unless he had some sexual frustrations in his marriage, wich in turn would make the current story less believable.
Either way i'd be glad if this "new" PH had his background elaborated in the new SH. (apart from being a manifestation of revenge for Rose) So that he'd have a good reason to chase Chris for more reasons than being a murderous bad guy. |
